Plate of Origin is back for 2019

The annual Plate of Origin competition showcasing the best food from across New Zealand is back for 2019. Hosted in Manawatu, eight local restaurants are partnered with eight renowned restaurants from around the country. Each partnership creates one main dish, highlighting two stellar ingredients to represent their partner restaurant’s region and Manawatu-Whanganui.

Plate of Origin 2019 is run in association with Cuisine, the magazine for New Zealand foodies.

All dishes are available on the Manawatu restaurants’ menus for two weeks from 2 – 16 March for diners to experience, as part of the New Zealand AgriFood Week 2019.
